Meet Dr. Taylor Belk, DVM, DACVO

Dr. Taylor Belk is an ACVO board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist and proud Georgia native. A two-time graduate of the University of Georgia, she completed advanced specialty training at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston followed by a three-year ophthalmology residency in Richmond, Virginia.

After several years in specialty practice, Dr. Belk returned home to establish Veterinary Eye Specialists of Athens. She is passionate about making specialty eye care more accessible and believes exceptional care begins with empathy, trust, and clear communication.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Belk enjoys spending time with her husband and son, visiting the Athens Farmers Market, trying new restaurants, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and relaxing with her cats, Willow and Ollie.
